The photographer (below) was from the Lansing State Journal newspaper.
He did not seem overly pleased about having his picture taken
though. It always strikes me as a bit of a contradiction when a
photographer is camera shy. Well, anyway, I have had people jokingly
tell me taking a picture of them might break my camera, and my
recollection is that he issued me precisely such a warning, but this was
the only time it has actually happened. After taking a few dozen
more shots, I was taking another picture of him and my camera jammed up on
me and would not respond to anything. I was done for the day!
