I used 49 images in 2015. Three times the same picture remained on the site for more than a week when I was offline due to travel. The photo on the right, though technically the last picture of the week in 2015, was also used for my 2016 New Year email the next day on January 1st. I talked about special light in the comments. "This doll has sat for years in one of the corners at our house. In addition to the sunlight falling upon her through the blinds, I also find the look on the dolls face engaging. It could be a stunned look. It could be a fearful look. It could be a perplexed look. I choose to see it as a look of wonder and possibility. I hope 2016 will be filled with both of those for each of you." |
