"The Artwork on the Ledges."

The sign in the winter photo on the opening Ledges of Grand Ledge page admonishes not to write anywhere on the Ledges because it rushes the process of erosion.  I would like to think people today are respectful of that request. But, over the course of years it has not necessarily been so, and there are plenty of your basic "I was here" name and year carvings. Once in a while someone has tried their hand at artwork along with their entry. From the basic "I love you" heart to more sophisticated offerings, here are a few samples I have photographed along the way.
