Throughout the entire thirteen years of my picture of the week run, only twice did I use a vertical image. Quite simply, horizontal photographs filled the space on the page better. So, these two shots are unique in that I liked them enough to cross my own lines and choose a vertical shot. The two are significantly different though. One is active and colorful. The other is quiet and contemplative. They were chosen a little over a year apart early on in the program. The file image dimensions on all of the photos throughout these galleries is 800x600 pixels. Or 600x800 on this page. The displayed sizes are usually reduced a little to fit better with the least scrolling. If you right click to "save as," the picture saved is the 800 dimension. If you have a need for the original size just email me and request it. Or, if you live locally, you can bring in a USB thumb drive to copy it from my inventory (call me to arrange a time). If you display my work elsewhere please be sure to acknowledge it as "courtesy of www.wsharing.com." click here for details |
